Sumi Ink Painting Workshop With Max Gimblett November 13, 2010

Led by 'oxherding' artist Max Gimblett, this workshop begins with an exhibition talk followed by a studio session using traditional handmade paper, sumi ink and Asian brushes. Gimblett is internationally known both as an artist and teacher, and his approach to painting embraces Eastern and Western philosophies, ancient symbols and the transformation of materials.
