ArtNow SF, San Francisco’s premier Fashion, Art and Music event Production Company, returns to 111 Minna the last Friday of the month (April 24th) with the fresh and impressive installment of their Suite Jesus series of monthlies. Boasting two packed rooms of sweat-inducing beats, dancehall reggae and some of the finest local art talent, the party starts early and the dance floor will be beckoning. Coupling with the success of the also one-a-month Veni Vidi Vici (I came, I saw, I conquered), ArtNow SF’s maintains an unwavering commitment to providing multi-faceted, super-sexy nights out capable of stimulating eyes and ears of all the Bay’s walks of life.
Friday’s festivities will be split into two distinct rooms, as 111 Minna’s back room will house some of the best national beat-makers and local DJ talent around. Headlining there will be two of the most prolific names in the DJ world today, Klever and Craze, performing on four turntables, side-by-side. Since releasing their cult classic “Scratch Nerds” several years back, these two electro-hip hop producers have taken just about every DJ title there is and played every corner of the globe in front of thousands. Straight up, these guys are no joke. Four turntables is the theme of this room for Suite Jesus, as Rootz and Kap10 and Morale and Shane King each team up with enough party-rocking electro, hip hop and old school funk to make the dancefloor sway with sweaty patrons. In the back room, St. Ann, Jamaica native, Chezidek will be using his sultry, conscious dancehall to get the ladies on the floor.
With two rooms of music, the Pieced Together Tour featuring art from over a dozen artists including Sode, Supher and Grave and plenty of the area’s pretty people, April’s Suite Jesus sets the tone for spring in the Bay. For more information on the music and guest list, go to going.com/aprsj. The art reception runs from 9-11pm. There are a limited number of $10 presale tickets available. $15 before 10:30pm and $20 after.
