Styrofoam Recycling Event in South Hadley February 4, 2012

On Saturday, February 4 from 10-3, the Town of South Hadley will hold their first Styrofoam Recycling Event. Bring your Styrofoam to the Town Transfer Station at 153 Newton Street and meet Barbara and Dave from ReFoamIt. We will be glad to answer your questions and to explain what happens to the Styrofoam that we collect. Please make sure that your Styrofoam is free of all tape, food, labels, and cardboard. All meat and produce trays must have the #6 triangle. If you have questions about what can be recycled please see www.refoamit.com. You do have to be a resident of South Hadley to participate in this event.
