The bluegrass-based jam band The String Cheese Incident is made up of mandolinist/violinist Michael Kang, guitarist Bill Nershi, bassist Keith Moseley, pianist Kyle Hollingsworth and percussionist Michael Travis. Formed in Colorado in the mid '90s, the band established the independent label SCI Fidelity and strives to connect as directly as possible to their fans. As an example, this summer's tour boasts that all tickets purchased through the band's website will be free of service fees.
