The Hunter College Department of Theater presents Elmer Rice's 'Street Scene.' This is one of the best examples of American Realism, and won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1929. Set on the street outside a New York City tenement building on a hot summer day in the 1920s, the play bristles with the music of daily life.
