Stratford on Avon Veterans Day 2008 June 20, 2008

This is the second year that the Queen’s Own Warwickshire and Worcestershire Yeomanry Comrades association will celebrate Veteran’s Day.

This year we will be at the TA Centre, New Broad Street, Stratford on Avon, commencing at 6pm.

We aim to raise the profile of all veterans in the community, be they from any of the services, and to provide a focal point for veterans in the area.

We plan to have a display showing our members military service, and transition to civilian life. There will be involvement from other organizations, and family and friends of all ages are welcome.

There will be a presentation of Veteran’s badges by HM Lord Lieutenant for Warwickshire. Refreshments will be available.
