The workshop Strategic Planning that Works is part of Third Sector New England's 2009-2010 Capacity Building Training Series (http://www.tsne.org/training_series), designed to help nonprofit managers and professionals meet the challenge of doing more with less in today's turbulent economy. All of the training workshops will be held monthly from September 2009 through May 2010 at TSNE’s NonProfit Center in downtown Boston.
This interactive workshop will provide a brief overview of strategic planning. You will learn:
-What makes planning strategic and useful
-The role of strategic planning in effective fundraising
-The basic elements of a strategic planning process, including the situation assessment
-The importance of engaging stakeholders
-Components of a useful mission statement
-And more!
The half-day workshops (9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and Effective Supervision is full day) are followed by an optional networking luncheon. Bulk discounts are available.
