Please join HIAS Young Leaders on Tuesday, September 13th at 7:30pm at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue for a film screening of Strangers No More, an Academy Award-winning film which spotlights the Bialik-Rogozin School in Tel Aviv, where children from 48 countries work to acclimate to life as Israelis while also maintaining the identity of their home countries. The film screening will take place at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue, and will be followed by a panel discussion about the issues addressed in the film as well as HIAS' work with immigrants and refugees in Israel.
