Storytime with John Bemelmans Marciano, author of Madeline & The Cats of Rome September 20, 2008

John Bemelmans Marciano, grandson of Madeline creator Ludwig Bemelmans, has written and illustrated the first all-new Madeline adventure in over fifty years. With extensive analysis and practice, Marciano stayed true to the original style of Madeline and takes her on a tour of sunny ancient Rome to escape the temporary Paris gloom. John Bemelmans Marciano will be reading from and signing Madeline and the Cats of Rome. He will not be able to sign his grandfather's Madeline books but is happy to sign all Madeline books he has written. Activities and giveaways will also be included in this event! Ages 4-8.
