Alliance Franaise of Hyderabad with the support of the French Embassy in India presents A Collective Film Project funded by the United Nations. Stories on Human Rights - Short films festival. In the Presence of Murali Nair, Film Director based in Hyderabad. What does 'Human Right' actually mean? In the Framework of the Stories on Human Rights' Festival, 22 award-winning directors have tried to give an answer to this question. The aim of these short films is to sensitize people about Human Rights, their application and their violations. The Alliance Franaise of Hyderabad has decided to be part of this international movement by presenting a selection of short films from the original collection. The event will be followed by a panel discussion with Murali Nair, on his film, The Crossing, and more generally on the questions of Development and Human Rights.
