Drawn from the true-life stories of some of the colourful, diverse, eccentric and fascinating locals who live in the Parramatta community, Stories From The West Side is playing at Riverside Theatres from Wednesday, 21 November until Saturday, 1 December 2012.

Twenty three students from Sydney's prestigious Actors' Centre under the guidance of Artistic Director Dean Carey, will explore the lives of an equivalent number of local identities through in-depth recorded interviews. These insights are woven together into a compelling night of theatre in which the actors recreate every line, pause and nuance of thought. This surprising production lifts the lid on the neighbourhood, it is verbatim theatre at its most revealing.
