Stomp 'Till You Drop: Join the Harvest Action at Vina Robles October 16, 2010

Get ready to join the harvest fray as we host a hands-on (and feet-on) harvest demonstration on Saturday, October 16 as part of the Paso Robles Harvest Wine Weekend. The action will take place in the demonstration vineyard adjacent to our hospitality center, and will conclude with a festive seasonal meal.

Starting at 3:00 p.m., you will learn all of the tricks of the harvest trade, from leaf pulling to crop thinning to ripeness measuring. You will then pick and stomp your own grapes, putting your personal imprint on the 2010 vintage.

Your labors will be rewarded with a traditional Swiss-style harvest dinner prepared by Swiss Chef and Director of Hospitality Martin Columberg.
