Steven Bates Band rock n roll! Live August 1, 2009

Steven Bates is from Mendocino county. As a guitarist, songwriter and singer he has led different ensembles of musicians in bands around this area and beyond for twenty years. Focusing on original rock and roll and other styles, the main idea is always to get the people on the dance floor and give them a memorable performance. Steven also performs often as a solo acoustic show with a frenetic style of strumming that can also get folks dancing. He has opened for the likes of Leon Russell, Amy Goodman, Eric McFadden, The Mother Hips and many other notable performers. If you are within range of a performance don't miss it. With a revolving cast of musicians you may catch Steven playing with members of Van Morrison's band, The Sons of Champlin and the Byrds. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
