Steve Earle and the Dukes (And Duchesses) August 2, 2011

A legend in the genre of alternative country, roots rocker Steve Earle has made a career of bucking the trends and traditions of Nashville. Earle and his band The Dukes (along with his wife, Alison Moorer) hit the road for a summer tour. Earle recently paid tribute to his late friend and mentor Townes Van Zandt on his 2009 effort 'Townes,' earning a 2010 Grammy for best Contemporary Folk Album. Earle follows that up with his latest, the T Bone Burnett-produced 'I'll Never Get Out Of This World Alive.'
