The Sterling Flutes, a flute choir founded in 1973, has performed all over the county, and the size of the ensemble changes, depending on the performance. At times there have been ten members. Today, Sterling Flutes consists of six members who play piccolo, E flat (Military) flute, C flute (standard orchestra), alto flute, and bass flute. Three of the original musicians are still with the choir. All of the members have one musical goal in mind: to spread the love and joy of the flute.
Free to the public.
