Stephen Schwartz Scholarship Finals April 18, 2009

Eight students with Dayton-area ties compete for scholarships totalling more than $5,000 from The Human Race Theatre Company. Each will sing one Stephen Schwartz song and another musical theatre piece. The famed composer of such hits as Wicked, Children of Eden, Godspell and Pippin is expected to attend and be one of the judges.
This is the second year for the scholarships, created after The Human Race participated in the premiere of Schwartz' Snapshots, A Musical Scrapbook in 2007.
