Acclaimed local artist Stephen Hansen will be presenting a gallery talk and tour of his retrospective "Now and Then" at the Las Cruces Museum of Art on Saturday, March 14th at 11 am. Topics to be discussed include works on hand as well as his creative process and lengthy career. Time will be allotted for questions.
"Now and Then," on display until Saturday, April 4th, includes works in a variety of media, such as prints and whimsical papier-mâché sculptures. A self-taught artist, Hansen’s work is represented in collections worldwide, including the Smithsonian Institute and the U.S. Embassy in Rome. He currently resides in Las Cruces.
