Stephen Colbert is a three-time Emmy Award-winning comedian, satirist, actor, and writer, known for his portrayal of uninformed opinion leaders. He is the host of the smash-hit television show The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. Since its debut, the series has established itself as one of Comedy Central's highest rated, earning him three Emmy nominations and an invitation to perform as featured entertainer at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. Noting his popularity, Ben & Jerry's has named a new ice cream in his honor, called Stephen Colbert's "Americone Dream." In this interview, he discusses his new book, I Am America (And So Can You!), considered a "simple book from a simple mind" about issues of the day.
