Step Out to Fight Diabetes October 6, 2007

Step Out to Fight Diabetes is the American Diabetes Association's signature fund raising event. This annual walk brings communities together all across the country to raise funds for diabetes research, advocacy and education; as well as to raise awareness about the disease.

The Brainerd area Step Out to Fight Diabetes will begin and end at the Paul Bunyan Trailhead parking lot, located behind Movies 10. The 6-mile walk will take you along the beautiful Paul Bunyan Trail. Once you reach Beaver Dam Road, stop for a quick snack and some water, then return to the Trailhead parking log to pick up your goody bag and check to see if you have won a door prize. Please come dressed comfortably and prepared for any kind of weather. Diabetes doesn't stop for rainy or snowy days and neither will we.
