I went to the Mogwai show at First Ave a few years ago and it was the loudest show I can remember. My friend and I were standing next to the sound board and they had a decible reader that reached 109.5 decibles. And it was like that for the entire show.
If I can make it on Tuesday, I'd love to see them again.

Heh. Definitely they have their volume. Reminds me of the My Bloody Valentine remix of "Mogwai Fear Satan" on Kicking a Dead Pig.

I don't what to expect from a Mogwai show. I'd be inclined to have a beer and chat over it. Their music has its basis in building atmosphere.
