Coney Island! From 1830 to 1970 the pleasure garden of New York City and spiritual home of the sideshow. Hundreds of millions of thrill-seeking city dwellers rode the subways and steamboats from the downtown precincts to thrill in the illicit pleasures of the beaches and amusement parks; where barkers, talkers, racketeers, roustabouts, back-alley photographers, sellers of patent medicines, ladies of negotiable affections, geeks, freaks, weirdos and showgirls abound...

Featuring:

The Real Tuesday Weld- Fore-unners of the electro swing craze, London's pop art pop act The Real Tuesday Weld have been playing their unique 'Antique Beat' mixup of pre-war jazz, chanson and electro klezmer throughout the noughties'

The Late Night Shop- This three headed Circus Cerberus combine the sinister sex appeal of succubi with the evil that grins behind every clown mask. The Pilo Family Circus has nothing on the Late Night Shop.

Missy Macabre- This tattooed spirit of the carnival eats fire for breakfast and sleeps on a bed of nails.

Ruby Blues- Queen of Trash and enfant terrible of Glastonbury Festival, Ruby is the Pied Piper of the peep show, the Svengali of sweet, sweet sin, the doyenne of debauchery, the Acme of artful persuasion.

Ophelia Bitz- Bearded lady, wharfside tart, chanteuse and collector of filthy tricks. Ophelia Bitz holds the patent on at least seventeen varieties of knowing wink.

El Nino (Lady Luck)-Founder of the legendary Lady Luck club and godfather of the London retro scene, El Nino's killer selection will wear out your shoe leather and set your soul on the slippery slope to sin!

Count Sizzle (Sizzle Suite)- Notorious underground DJ and high-jumping hopscotcher Count Sizzle is famed from Shepherd's Bush's subterranean shebeen Ginglik to the green fields of Winterwell Festival and beyond for his highly prized Sizzle Suite events. Expect an ear popping selection of rare vintage cuts!
