It is rare that you can see a real steam engine. Even more rare is to get in the locamotive and check it out. You can watch as it is loaded with coal. Then when it is time for the train to leave you'll see and hear the amazing sound and sight of the steam as it shoots out the sides. Then it starts to roll and you hear that wonderful sound of the steam - chug, chug, chug. This is a piece of history that is fun for everyone and it is in the most historic place in Indiana - Metamora the 1838 Canal town.
