Please join us on Friday January 26 at CoCA for a rare Seattle appearance by poet, essayist, novelist, popular NPR commentator and general party hound Andrei Codrescu.
The author of more than 20 novels, poetry and essay collections, and the longstanding editor of the influential online literary journal Exquisite Corpse, Andrei will also join us at CoCA on Friday January 26 for a full evening of poetry and partying. (21+ Only).
Starting at 7:30 pm, Andrei will help present the remarkable Gypsy photos of Andrew Miksys and will be on hand to sign copies of BAXT, the collaboration between Miksys and Andrei. The photo exhibit is FREE. (See www.andrewmiksys.com to view these extraordinary prints.)
At 9pm, the debauchery will begin, with Andrei joining the musical group Orchestra L’Pow, belly dancers Troupe Hipnotica, and burlesque artiste Babette La Fave. The evening will be emceed by Rick Klu and DJ-ed by David Rauschenberg. This is THE Andrei Codrescu that you will NEVER get on NPR. Believe us! Like we said, 21 and over only, PLEASE.
Tickets for the CoCA event are $7 Advanced or $10 at the door. ½ price tickets are available at the door ($5) for those with a ticket stub from the Town Hall talk.
