The State Of The Map 2008 is the second international conference to be run by the OpenStreetMap Foundation.
OpenStreetMap is a free editable map of the whole world. Since 2004 it has been made by people like you. It allows you to view, edit and use geographical data in a collaborative way from anywhere on Earth.
Come to sunny Limerick in Ireland on the 12-13 July 2008 for two days of mapping fun, and a range of talks on GIS / open collaboration tops.
This year will be even better than last (have a look at last years slides and recordings: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/index.php/State_Of_The_Map_2007 ) so book your flights now.
