Stars & Stripes: Fabric of the American Spirit October 15, 2011

This extraordinary exhibit features dozens of American flags on loan to the Museum by local collector, J. Richard Pierce. The flags were generally hand made and often carried by individuals during significant moments and events in American history. By tracing back the evolution of the American flag, the collection provides a link to important events of the past.
