Stargazing in Kirkwood May 9, 2009

STARGAZING IN KIRKWOOD PARK MAY 9: The City of Kirkwood’s Parks and Recreation department will host an evening of stargazing on Saturday, May 9, 2009, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., at the Kirkwood Park Amphitheater. Dr. Ryan Ziegler from the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Washington University, St. Louis, will give a presentation on the moon and help guide stargazers with their viewing. Several telescopes will be available, but stargazers are welcome to bring their own as well. There is no cost to participate. Call 314-822-5826 for more information.
