Taste the Future of Boston Food
StarChefs.com, the magazine for culinary insiders, has named its 2006 Boston Rising Stars award recipients. These talented chefs will serve their signature dishes at the Rising Stars Revue, a gala tasting event at The Seaport Hotel on Tuesday, April 5, 7:30-9:30pm. Honorees include: Gabriel Bremer of Salts, Gabriel Frasca of Spire, Geoff Gardner of Sel de la Terre, Andy Husbands of Tremont 647, Jerome Legras of Aujourd?hui, Amanda Lydon of Ten Tables, Pino Maffeo of Restaurant L, Tony Maws Craigie Street Bistrot, David Reynoso of The Butcher Shop, Pastry Chef Rick Billings of Clio, Pastry Chef Lynn Moulton of blu, and Host Chef John Merrill of Aura at the Seaport Hotel. With each chef's dish, guests will enjoy premium wine pairings selected by the Rising Star Sommelier Alex DeWinter of Grill 23. Rising Star Bar Chef John Gertsen of No. 9 Park will be shaking up his signature cocktails as well.
