Stanford Afro-Latin Jazz Ensemble May 27, 2009

Salsa and Latin Jazz at Stanford -- finally! The Stanford Latin Jazz Ensemble plays classic and contemporary works from both the Latin and North American songbook. The group plays music from the entire spectrum of Afro-Latin music and jazz, including son-montuno, rumba, timba, comparsa, songo, salsa, boleros, jazz and funk. The music is for both dancing and listening and is guaranteed to get you moving.

See the group perform at the Stanford Coffee House in Tressider Student Union, a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
