standing poses are a basic to most yoga practices and the longer you do yoga the more you realize the subtlety in each. we will discuss the alignment of standing poses and standing balancing poses, starting with the foundation of each pose and work our way up. there will be some movement to warm up the body and a practice to play with flowing from pose to pose once we have explored the principles of each pose, appropriate for all levels.
