Stand Up And Speak Out October 16, 2007

Stand Up and Speak Out is the growing movement of people no longer prepared to stay seated or silent in the face of poverty and inequality. On October 16th and 17th, Stand Up and Speak Out for the Millennium Development Goals. Help us break the world record. So we can break the record of broken promises.

The Art of Living Foundation, an international humanitarian and educational NGO, will partner with other non-profit organizations who support the Millennium Goals and provide information on service projects and interests. There will be a canvas for people to paint in support of the event as well as a booth to record people's opinions on service, poverty and the 8 goals. The main program will include music, a meditation and a pledge for peace.
