The Hyde Park Art Center will feature Stan Chisholm, in a display titled 'ThingsThatNeverReallyHappened.' The exhibition will feature monochrome drawings in a graphic, almost comic book style that take on the appearance of a three dimensional relief. Chisholm will collage together paper, cloth, foam and other materials to create what he calls "mascots"-a cast of individual characters, each having its own personality and background story. "On the wall, everything's going to be cut out of paper," says Chisholm. "Sort of like a relief...Think about trying to take it straight from the sketch pad and blowing it up, make it a little more real."
