In this visually stunning, supremely original, Technicolor masterpiece, a pilot’s plane returning from a bombing run, in WWII England, gets hit and his parachute is damaged. He jumps from the plane and ends up on the sea shore ALIVE! Apparently there was a mix up in heaven. By the time the pilot is located, he has already met and fallen in love with the owner of the lovelyvoice which was his last radio contact before jumping. Heaven agrees to a trial to decide his fate. The Friday Films’ host will speak of his time working for Martin Scorsese with insight about Scorsese’s mentor, legendary British director Michael Powell.
