New Australian Play, The Man with the September Face, at the Boxcar Playhouse in San Francisco for One Night Only

A staged reading of The Man with the September Face, a new play by Australian playwright Kylie Trounson, will be presented at the Boxcar Playhouse, 505 Natoma Street, San Francisco, CA 94013 on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 7pm. Directed by Susannah Martin and sponsored by the Australian American Chamber of Commerce, with promotional support from Advance, the play is set in a roller-skating rink in the outer suburbs of Melbourne, Australia in the 1980’s. Tickets are available online at www.sfaussies.com. A reception with the author and director will follow the reading. Kylie is the daughter of Alan Trounson, recently appointed President of the Californian Institute of Regenerative Medicine in San Francisco.
