The county should eliminate all the waste which is far from being done before any tax increase is even considered. This is BS and any elected official should be ran out of office for voting a tax increase in this economic downturn.
Nonewtaxes
Remember those pathetic politicians who would raise taxes on the already overtaxed citizens of St. Joseph County. We will have to make sure that its the unemployment line for them in the next election. No new taxes!

Raising taxes ought to be a last resort. First we should identify and eliminate wasteful spending. This has not been done. The city is spending like crazy, it wouldn't never be tolerated in the private sector.
