The St. Olaf Orchestra, conducted by Steven Amundson, will present a spring concert of Russian and American music. The orchestra will highlight two St. Olaf music faculty members. Kent McWilliams will play Prokofiev's "First Piano Concerto" and composer Justin Merritt will be featured in the premiere performance of a work for string orchestra entitled "Lachryme." Also featured will be student conductor Christopher Noel '05 conducting "Montagues and Capulets" from prokofiev's "Romeo and Juliet." Free and open to the public.
