One of many THANK YOU Notes from Soldiers who have received care packages:
"My name is Francis and I am an Infantryman from the 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team currently deployed to the Wardak province in Afghanistan. We are in such a remote place that mail and any resupplies all come by helicopter. Mail around here arrives once a week and when it does come, it's always a very exciting time. The shaving cream and razors are a big hit around here, as were the hand warmers. Our location is absolutely frigid, sometimes below freezing even during daylight hours, so I thank you so very much for the morale boost your care package has made for myself and other soldiers. The 173rd is based in Vicenza, Italy and we are expected to return home to Italy sometime close to Thanksgiving of this year. The care package arrived in excellent condition and I could immediately tell upon opening that much time, care, and love was taken in preparing the package. Again, I would like to thank you for taking the time, energy, and money to remind us that we are missed and not forgotten, despite being thousands of miles away from America and our loved ones. God bless.
SPC Francis, United States Army"
