Fr. David Medow, Pastor of St Mary Immaculate Parish in Plainfield, announced that St. Mary Immaculate School is accepting applications from prospective new students. Openings are available in many grade levels for the upcoming school year. Registrations
St. Mary Immaculate provides an outstanding Catholic education in both faith and academics for students age 3 - 8th grade. Religion is taught daily and K-8 students attend Mass weekly.
Mrs. Jennifer Errthum, Assistant Principal emphasized that “Ours is a whole-child approach to foster intellectual, spiritual, physical, & social development. It is learning with a moral purpose.” she said. “We strive to educate students to serve others and develop leadership.”
Fr. Medow stressed the advantages of the school’s “Certified, dedicated, highly educated teachers, equipped to help students reach their highest potential.” He pointed out the advanced curriculum. “It includes Music, P.E., Art, Computer Technology and Spanish, even band class (Junior and Senior levels) during the school day,” he said “It is a differentiated instructional program geared to engage and excite each student each step of the way.”
St. Mary Immaculate School offers all-day
Kindergarten and an early childhood program for 3-year olds (Monday through Thursday in the afternoons) and for 4-year olds, (Monday through Friday in the mornings).
There is an Extended Day School before and after school for parent’s convenience. Beyond class work, the school offers multiple co-curricular and extracurricular activities, interscholastic academic opportunities, and a comprehensive sports program for grades 5-8.
