An internationally renowned ensemble formed in 1989, the St. Lawrence String Quartet adheres to its motto to “play every concert like it’s [their] last.” The selected program for the quartet’s March 8 performance, part of the Chamber Sessions II series, will feature Hayden’s String Quartet in D Major, Op. 20, No. 4, a world-premiere by the renowned Osvaldo Golijov, and Schubert’s String Quartet in G Major, D. 887. At 6:30, Golijov and members of the St. Lawrence String Quartet will appear in conversation with Ara Guzelimian, Provost and Dean of the Juilliard School.
