Square Kids; Tuesdays in the Food Court and Town Square June 23, 2009

Beginning on Tuesday, June 23, Bayshore Town Center will become the coolest destination for kids, as Square Kids; Tuesdays in the Food Court and Town Square starts up. From 11:30 am until 2:00 pm, Bayshore will engage children of all ages in participatory fine art projects – ranging from crafty to divine. Community partners Barnes & Noble, North Shore Academy of the Arts, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center and Discovery World have all joined in this effort to ensure that all these fantastic programming, including story time, science projects and animal exhibits – are all FREE! Samaritan Family Wellness will support the FREE musical performances. These FREE events begin inside in the food court at 11:30 am and continue at 1:00 pm with live musical performances on the Square, designed especially to capture and engage children.
This Tuesday, will feature Patchworks Pot - decoupage over terra cotta pots with planted flower or seeds and Dena Aronson and Friends - children learn how to drum to their own rhythm.
