Plant a colorful spring garden to grow indoors while you are waiting for the outdoors to bloom. Fill an attractive basket with flowering plants: cyclamin, tulips, primroses, daffodils, violas or pansies accented with lacy ferns, trailing ivies and green moss. Your portable garden will look equally charming on a table or windowsill. When summer arrives, plant the bulbs in the garden and transplant the fern, violas, primroses and ivy to a damp shady spot to enjoy all summer.
