"Spring Splash" Road Trip (All Spaces Filled!) April 25, 2009

The Web-Site, Exploring Izard County is hosting this fundraising event which will lead up to 30 vehicles through the southern portion of Izard County and visit two waterfalls, two, mill-sites, a Spring, and a historic Schoolhouse. Special Guest Speaker will be Mrs. Mary Lafferty Wilson, a direct descendent of two of the county's very earliest pioneers, who will discuss her family's history in the area. A Pic-nic lunch will be enjoyed at the last stop and other fun activities will take place including entertainment by loca artist, Dwayne Spangler.

All proceeds from sales of commemorative merchandise and all donations will be forwarded to the Izard County Genealogical and Historical Society to support its Trimble House Restoration Project!
