Spring Peeper Hunt with The Nature Place Day Camp May 5, 2012

Come hunt the harbingers of spring on May 5 at 7:30pm on the Green Meadow Waldorf School Campus! The Nature Place will venture into the nearby wetlands with boots, flashlights and eyes keen on spotting spring peepers: tiny, thumbnail-sized frogs! Their loud mating calls will help us spot them, as will the black X’s on their backs. Children of all ages are welcome with their parents, and be sure to dress appropriately (boots, warmer clothing) as we’ll be tromping through the mud.
