Spring One Day Camp: The Journey of Food March 16, 2012

Youth ages 7-10 will discover the science behind food after we eat it. Take a walk on the wild side - inside your body - with a human metabolism obstacle course and a close encounter with yeast beasties. Leave with a better understanding of how your body takes in and processes food. The camp includes one hour of curiosity-driven free exploration before the museum opens to the public. Kids can now go to camp when school is out ­on select San Francisco public school holidays and furlough days. For more information, please call (415) 561-0321.

The camp runs from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Extended care is available: 8:30 am – 9 am and 4 pm – 5:30 pm
