Spring Festival: A Victorian Affair May 31, 2009

Don your best Victorian attire and step back 100 years at Rancho Los Cerritos to experience the dynamic Victorian era, complete with live music, dancing, unusual entertainment, and even a Maypole dance!

The splendid array of entertainment will include Victorian fashion shows, hilarious skits, and a conglomeration of colorful characters. A magician will astound children, the fortuneteller will forecast the future, and the noted Dr. Malatesa, phrenologist, will predict someone’s character by the bumps on his head! The Spring Festival will also feature musical performances by “The Band of the California Batallion”, an authentic 16-piece re-enacted civil war brass band.
Spend the delightful afternoon participating in period activities such as ice cream making, butter churning, Victorian-era games and crafts designed especially for the children.

Food and snacks will be available for purchase at a nominal fee.
