Spring Break Zoo Camp April 5, 2011

3 Days. Zoo Camp at Riverbanks is the ideal spring break retreat for kids ages 5 to 9. This year campers will learn about some native animals, compare them to the Zoo's out-of-town residents, and uncover some wild facts. Daily animal encounters, behind-the-scenes tours, zoo walks, arts-and-crafts and games make Zoo Camp a can't-miss spring break destination! Online registration available. Camp Theme-- "Wild Neighbors"--It's a jungle in your own backyard and at the Zoo! Learn about some of South Carolina's spectacular creatures and their habitats as we compare them to the Zoo's out-of-town residents. Campers will be awed by the Zoo's wild neighbors: rabbits that live with our gorillas, a fox that passes by the giraffes, brown bats that roost near the Jamaican fruit bats and black rat snakes that bask in the sun! Spring Break Camp includes daily animal encounters, behind-the-scenes tours, Zoo walks, arts and crafts, games and more.
