Spring Break Specials - Session II March 25, 2010

Participate in workshops offered at the Curtis Arts and Humanities Center.

Ages 10 to 15

$10 for all three workshops

Painting (acrylic or oil)
Thursday, March 25, 9 a.m. to Noon
Mark Nelson will teach students the basics to creating a painting using acrylic or oil. Please bring painting supplies.

Storytelling through Art
Thursday, March 25, 1 to 2 p.m.
Art Historian Lauren Wells will introduce children to famous works of art through story telling. Children will create their own stories based on famous works of art and share them with the group and then will learn the real stories behind the works.

Watercolor Tricks for Beginners
Friday, March 26, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Rick Brogan will introduce students to watercolor and teach them basic techniques.
