Music, movies, crafts, a sustainability presentation and a history program will highlight the Tigard Public Library’s Spring Break Festival from Friday, March 20, through Saturday, March 28. The Muses, Tanya Brody and Matthew Gurnsey, will kick off Spring Break week by singing and playing a mix of Celtic music with a variety of instruments on Friday, March 20, at 7 p.m.
International consultant and business writer Gary Langenwalter will discuss how to create a sustainable lifestyle to improve your life and help save the world on Tuesday, March 24, from 7-8:30 p.m. Langenwalter wrote The Squeeze: A Novel Approach to Business Sustainability. Dressed in full battle regalia, Langenwalter also will evoke the Revolutionary War battles of Lexington and Concord on Saturday, March 28, from 2-3 p.m.
A Canine Movie Marathon begins on Monday, March 23, and the fun continues with movies to delight all ages throughout the week. Two special craft sessions are planned for ages five and up.
The craft sessions will be held in the Puett Room. All other events will be in the Community Room. Refreshments will be served at the movies. All events are free.
