Mice, Whales and other mammals, oh my!
Register your kids for the Houston Arboretum’s Spring Break Camp, Mammal Mania, before limited space runs out. This camp will have your explorers learning all about mammals and the characteristics that they share with each other and human beings. They will be led through hands-on investigations about these particular animals’ acute senses of smell, coats of fur and much more. Students will even take a look at mammals that are unique to Texas, and armadillos and certain coyote top of the list.
The Arboretum has a long history of providing quality children’s nature camp programs in a 155-acre nature sanctuary―a living laboratory―to explore nature and science. This week-long camp features both indoor and outdoor adventures. Children are taught by qualified staff naturalists in classes by age (5 & 6, 7 & 8, 9-12). You are able to choose between half or full day camps, whichever is most convenient for you and your explorer! Visit www.houstonarboretum.org, call (713) 681-8433, or stop by the Arboretum for more information.
