Spring 2011 Homespun Chic Marketplace April 17, 2011

The Spring 2011 Homespun Chic Marketplace will take place on Sunday, April 17th from 2:30pm to 6pm at the Winter Park Farmer’s Market located in Downtown Winter Park. The event will feature 25 local artisans, selling their handmade wares varying from postcards to plush; children’s clothing to chic jewelry, and everything in between.
Independent artisans and designers from around Central Florida will be in attendance, offering handcrafted wares. Fueled by the “Buy Handmade” movement, the marketplace is at the backbone of a growing craft culture, seeking to prove to Americans that high quality, everyday items are easily available at places other than the mall. The marketplace also offers shoppers an easy way to give back to the community. A portion of this year's event sales will be donated to Give Kids the World®.
The Winter Park Farmer’s Market, located at 200 West New England Avenue, Winter Park, will the venue for this years event. The event space features an open floor plan in a treasured historic building. In addition, the building has ample free parking and is within walking distance of Downtown Winter Park’s shopping district located on Park Avenue.
