Wednesday 9th September. Sponsored Walk in aid of Friends of Somerset Churches and Chapels.
The walk starts at 9.15am from Charlcombe Parish Church - a country walk, mainly on footpaths visiting Wooley, Langridge, Northstoke and Weston churches. Total distance = 13 miles - but only walk as far as you want to. The Lansdown Monument makes a convenient half-way point from which transport can be rranged for those who wish. Tea at Tournesol, Charlcombe Lane, for finishers. Half of the money raised will be returned to the walkers' churches. The walk is open to all - not just church members.
